Swami BR Madhusudan
Swami BR Madhusudan is a modern day ascetic in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. Spending his early years in Africa, his search for deeper meaning took him to India where he met his spiritual master, Srila B.R. Sridhar Maharaj in 1982. Hearing the profoundly unique discussions being presented by this reclusive saint, his heart was captivated and he was compelled to give himself in service to his Guru, remaining in India for 30 years. Very few westerners were able to tolerate the austere conditions at the ashram, but being dedicated with a loving heart towards his Guru, he embraced the simple yet progressive life of a humble disciple and imbibed the essence of his spiritual master's teachings. In response to the affectionate requests of spiritual aspirants from around the world, Madhusudan Maharaj left India in 2014 and now spends all of his time travelling across every continent, sharing the spiritual gifts that he received from his guru in a practical and affectionate way with anyone who is blessed to be in his association. Swami BR Madhusudan returns to India annually to lead pilgrimages to various sacred sites and is recognised as one of the most faithful followers of Srila BR Sridhar Maharaj and Srila Govinda Maharaj.
Swami BK Tyagi
